What You'll Do as a Firefighter

Do You Qualify?
Here's what you need to apply:
High School Diploma or GED
Arizona or National Registry EMT or Paramedic Certification
CPR Certification (ACLS for Paramedics)
Valid Driver's License
Ability to complete the Fire Academy
No prior firefighting experience? That's okay. Firefighter I/II and Hazmat certifications are preferred but not required — we'll help you build those skills through the academy.
